American Air Distributing, Inc. was founded in May, 1994 by Bob Frank and Gary Bower and opened for business in August 1994 at 915 Madison Ave., Norristown, PA.  The focus of this enterprise was to offer high quality HVAC products through a dealer organization whose focus is primarily the replacement market, both residential and light commercial.  With the majority of the industry leaders pursuing the "BTU's in the box" concept, it was felt that a portion of the market would be interested in selling a higher end product provided it had the features that would support a higher selling price.  American Standard, an old name in our industry, was reentering the market and needed a quality distributor to serve the greater Southern Pennsylvania market.  They also shared our vision of selling to a higher end customer and had a product which supported a higher selling price.

Today, we market American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning products in portions of four states, which comprise thirty-three counties in total.  We presently have over one hundred identified dealers supporting the sale of American Standard heating and air conditioning products and an additional three hundred plus customers buying our other products on a regular basis. All of our customers are supported with deliveries the next day by our fleet of seven company owned trucks.

The owners continue to reinvest in the company to insure its success today and in the future.  With the growing replacement market in both residential and commercial segments, American Air Distributing is ready and well prepared for the future.
